Delete Your Account

Last updated: August 4, 2026

1. How to delete your Voxor account

This page explains how to permanently delete your Voxor account and the data associated with it. Voxor is a voice-to-text transcription service operated by Voxor, and this applies to the Voxor Android app, the desktop apps and the web account alike.

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, in either of these places:

  • On the web: sign in at portal.voxor.ai/dashboard/account and use "Delete account" at the bottom of the page.
  • In the Voxor app: open account settings and choose "Delete account".

If you cannot sign in, for example because you have lost access to your email or password, email support@voxor.ai from any address and ask us to delete your account. Tell us the email address the account uses. We will verify that the account is yours before deleting anything, and we aim to complete these requests within 30 days.

2. What deletion removes

Deleting your account takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no way for us to restore the account afterwards. The following are permanently removed:

  • Your account and sign-in credentials
  • Your transcription history
  • Any audio recordings stored on our servers, if you had server-side storage enabled
  • Your custom dictionary, snippets, personas and instructions
  • Your settings and preferences across all your devices
  • Your team memberships

Any active subscription is cancelled as part of the deletion, so you are not billed again.

If you own a team, deleting your account also deletes that team. Everyone in it loses access, and this happens without any action on their part. If you want the workspace to continue, transfer ownership or ask us at support@voxor.ai before deleting your account.

3. Deleting some data without deleting your account

You do not have to delete your account to remove data from it. Each of these works on its own, takes effect immediately, and cannot be undone.

  • A single transcription. Open your history, on the web or in the app, and delete the entry. Its text and any stored recording go with it.
  • Only the audio, keeping the text. If you have audio storage turned on, you can delete the recording for a transcription and keep the transcript.
  • Stored audio in general. Turning audio storage off stops new recordings being kept. Recordings already stored are removed once their retention period (7, 15 or 30 days, whichever you chose) elapses, or immediately if you delete them yourself.
  • Your dictionary, snippets, personas and instructions. Each can be deleted individually in settings.

If you would rather we did it, email support@voxor.ai from the address your account uses and tell us what to remove. We will verify the account is yours first, and we aim to complete these requests within 30 days.

4. What we keep, and why

Two things are kept after your account is deleted. Neither remains linked to your account, because your account no longer exists.

  • Payment and invoice records. We are required to retain these for accounting and tax purposes. They are kept without your account attached to them.
  • A one-way record that a free trial was used. This stores no readable personal information. It exists only so free trials cannot be claimed repeatedly by deleting and recreating accounts.

For the full picture of what we collect and how long we hold it, see our Privacy Policy.
